Résumés are just glossy collages of fictions and facts - you’ve spun a few too, right?
And those 2 a.m. soul-barfs at the bar? You can talk until the IPA runs out, somewhere between the 5th drink and dawn, try to remember the words that slipped out.
The only one brutally simple question that survives daylight is: what did you do?
So, in the end, I made this list and wrote down what I actually did - no adjectives, no future tenses, no verbs that require venture capitalists.
And I adhere by two simple rules. To the world: "Show me." To myself: "Do it.”
